More Info on the December 21 Parade!
The Trilogy Orlando Veterans Association (TOVA) will host the first annual Christmas Golf Cart Parade on Sunday, December 21, 2014. Parade participants are asked to line up outside the main gate on the sidewalk of Lake Wilson Parkway no later than 5:45 PM. The parade will promptly start at 6:00 PM. The parade enters the main gate and travels throughout the streets of Trilogy, ending at the Magnolia House. This year’s combined effort of the Christmas Parade as well as the beautiful annual community luminaries (sponsored by the Wildflowers of Trilogy Garden Club) will certainly bring holiday cheer to all. Residents do not have to decorate their individual carts, however, parade participants are encouraged to decorate their vehicles and transform them into their own Christmas carts with individual flare and taste. Some carts may be themed and others will simply display Christmas decorations. TOVA will award prizes for the top three decorated carts, selected by independent judges chosen by the Garden Club. Wonderful fellowship and an excellent pot luck dinner follows the luminary and parade. Judges will announce the three winners at that time. If you are interested in taking part in the parade, please email TOVA’s event coordinator Joan Woll at: firstname.lastname@example.org . Please keep in mind that you do not have to feel like you have to decorate your cart. Just join us as we tour our community.
